YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME TO GUN-GALUUT

Due to the harsh Mongolian cold winters, Steppe Nomads is open from the 15th of May until October 1st.   However, it doesn't mean that you are not welcome in Gun-Galuut during the winter months.  In the winter, Gun Galuut's ranger Ariunaa and her family can accommodate you with an "eco-ger".    Extra layers of felt and a fire in the wood stove keep the eco ger warm and cozy.  There is no electricity or running water in the ger and toilet facilities are outdoors.   During your stay at the eco ger, Ariunaa and her husband Dondog will cook your meals and at your request provide guide services to watch the Reserve's endangered Argali sheep and other wildlife.
