The meat, dairy products and eggs we serve in the restaurant are purchased from the local nomads and are fresh and of the highest quality.  In the Mongolian countryside, all meals are prepared with fresh meat from grass-fed livestock and organic dairy products. Mongolian livestock grazes on the steppe year around and herders do not use chemicals of any kind.  The added benefits of serving our guests organically grown meat and dairy products is that it supports the local nomad economy, responsible land-use and healthy eating habits. 

At Steppe Nomads we are very proud of our on-site green house and vegetable garden and our chef Odno takes great pleasure in preparing your meals using tasty, organically grown veggies.
