to Mt.Baits to view the gorgeous Argali mountain sheep

The Reserve is truly the marvelous combination of high
mountains, colorful flowers, pretty lakes, rivers and
wetlands with its famous rare species. It is a home to
endangered wild Mountain sheep-Argali the Big Horns, White-napped
crane, Siberian White Crane, Hooded Crane and the rare
Black stork, Asian heron, Whooper swan, Swan Goose and
so on. Over 80 Argali sheep inhabit peacefully in Gun-Galuut
now. Also you can ride to a nomadic family and can get
a information about their life. If you are not an experienced
rider, we recommend hiring a local guide cum wrangler
at the fixed rates.
Local guide and Wrangler:
Those who want to view the rare wildlife and birds, feel
the wilderness and the beauty of the reserve should hire
our local guides. They know every single rocks of the
reserve and will show you what you want to see and enjoy.
You can hire a local guide even traveling with bikes.
If you are traveling on horse, camel or yak back or on
a yak cart, a local guide cum wrangler is a must to travel
with you. He will be there for your safety and will guide
you in the reserve. If you hire them for more than 3 hours
to for days you are responsible for their food and accommodation.

If you are not an experienced rider, our carts are the
best rides for you. Carts are rather slow but more comfortable
and fun to ride and suitable for all kinds of tours such
as wildlife viewing, bird watching, nomadic family visiting
etc. You can ride cart for your tour to Mt.Baits to view
the gorgeous Argali mountain sheep and the White Napped
Crane, Whooper Swan and other birds. Also you can visit
nomadic family with your cart.

the hospitable nomads is a great way to experience real
Mongolia at its best. They are the friendliest people
You can meet real nomads and visit their gers here. You
can even stay with them for a few days to experience real
nomadic culture. Our community member households welcome
everyone. You can see and try dairy product making, sheep
herding, mare and cow milking etc. Most of them have extra
ger for their guests neighboring their ger and you will
stay in their guest gers, which are roomy and comfortable.
You will enjoy real nomadic delicacies and beverages and
can help the nomads in their everyday work. Washing facilities
are simple in nature, outhouse mainly.
